First speakers announced

We are happy to announce the first speakers of the 2018 edition of the Linux Developer Conference Brazil. We have many good proposals that was reviewed by the CFP committee, making a decision to choose the selected ones was hard.

The first two speakers of the Conference are Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo and Jon “maddog” Hall. Arnaldo is seasoned Linux Kernel developer and maintainer, and one of the founders of Conectiva. He will be talking about the perf trace tool and how it’s learning to get more information of the system. Jon “maddog” Hall is the CEO of OptDyn and GNU user since 1986 and will talk about Open Source Peer-to-Peer Cloud Software.

More speakers will be announced in the following days and full agenda of the event will follow shortly as well. The conference will be happening on August 25-26 in Campinas – SP – Brazil. Check our site and registration page to learn more.
